Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.</p><p></p><p>Leidos is seeking a<b> Senior Business Process Engineer </b>to support the SEC ISS contract by leading process analysis and optimization efforts that improve service quality, operational efficiency, and governance outcomes across OIT service areas. This role drives standardized, ITIL-aligned process design and ensures workflows are documented, measurable, and continuously improved to meet contract performance expectations. The position partners with federal stakeholders and technical teams to convert business requirements into implementable process and ITSM solutions. The role also strengthens audit readiness and service-level performance through disciplined process governance, change control, and data-driven reporting.</p><p></p><h2>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><p></p><p>Process Analysis and Optimization</p><p>- Lead end-to-end analysis, design, and optimization of complex cross-functional business processes supporting SEC ISS services.</p><p>- Assess current-state workflows, identify bottlenecks and control gaps, and implement improved future-state processes.</p><p>- Translate business and operational requirements into implementable process designs, including workflow automation opportunities.</p><p>- Align process improvements with SEC priorities, contract requirements, and enterprise service delivery objectives.</p><p></p><p>Governance, ITIL, and Compliance</p><p>- Establish and maintain ITIL-aligned process governance for incident, request, problem, change, and knowledge management.</p><p>- Define and enforce process controls, decision gates, and approval flows to align with SEC change-control expectations.</p><p>- Oversee compliance and audit activities by maintaining process evidence, SOP artifacts, and remediation tracking.</p><p>- Track and report process-related issues, risks, and performance deficiencies on an agreed governance cadence.</p><p></p><p>Service Management Reporting and Documentation</p><p>- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, runbooks/playbooks, workflow maps, and standards.</p><p>- Define SLA/KPI measurement approaches and support dashboard-based performance reporting and recurring deliverables.</p><p>- Use ticketing and operational data to perform root-cause analysis and drive lessons-learned updates to processes.</p><p>- Ensure process and knowledge artifacts are version-controlled, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards.</p><p></p><p>Stakeholder Engagement, Adoption, and Mentorship</p><p>- Collaborate with SEC stakeholders, service owners, and technical teams to implement approved process improvements.</p><p>- Lead change management activities, including communications, training, and adoption strategies for updated workflows.</p><p>- Provide mentorship and quality oversight to junior process engineers and team members.</p><p>- Present recommendations, progress, and improvement roadmaps to leadership and governance forums.</p><p></p><h2>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><p></p><p>Citizenship/Work Authorization: Must meet contract requirements.</p><p>Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust (or higher if required).</p><p>Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Engineering).
