They will develop a strong pipeline of candidates through networking, direct sourcing, internet mining and applicant tracking tools. The Talent Acquisition Specialist (contract) works with key stakeholder to identify sources, develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This is a contract position that will be home-based/remote position.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Creatively sources for open roles and pipeline efforts, using multiple channels to recruit candidates, which may include but is not limited to target companies, colleges, association meetings, industry meetings, diversity organizations, job fairs, internet, and employee referrals.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Identifies passive candidates through the use of databases, Boolean logic searches, LinkedIn and social media to identify potential candidates.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Partners with internal business leaders to understand business objectives and the resources needed to effectively source candidates for current openings and develop a bench strength pool.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Proactively builds relationships with potential candidates, creating a robust pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future staffing needs.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Conducts candidate screenings and qualification interviews.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Utilizes and maintains applicant tracking system, understands the candidate flow process and the importance of metrics.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Leads interview team debrief process with hiring managers to calibrate candidates and refine sourcing plan as necessary.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Negotiates offers of employment to qualified candidates.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Tracks and generates activity reports for management.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Trains and provides hiring managers with counsel, materials and support interviewing and selection best practices.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Coordinates interview schedules to ensure candidate and hiring managers meet in a timely manner.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Serves as subject matter expert while influencing, guiding and driving the recruiting process.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Maintains recruiting dashboards for all recruiting related activities to assess performance against required metrics.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Serves as an internal consultant to ensure that job descriptions and posting accurately represent core responsibilities and requirements for positions.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Maintains EEO and Veterans reporting and ensures recruitment practices are aligned to legal requirements.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Stays abreast of industry trends and uses the most current market data in strategy planning and execution.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Obtains necessary pre-hire documentation from candidates and provides data to third party background organization to confirm prior work experience, certifications, or other job-specific credentials required for the position.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Performs other functions as assigned by management.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">College-degree preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in human resources within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with experience in full cycle recruiting.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Experience with UKG and/or Applicant tracking systems.</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Highly experienced in a variety of search mediums or sourcing channels to fill hard to fill and critical openings.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Required Skills and Competencies:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external
