Duties are to lead and manage a team of data architects responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data solutions across platforms like Snowflake, Informatica, and dbt (15%). Define and evolve Ellucian’s enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, and governance frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.5%. Oversee the development of scalable data models, pipelines, and integration patterns that support structured and semi-structured data sources. (10%). Partner cross-functionally with business, product, and technology teams to align data architecture with strategic goals and enable self-service analytics and predictive insights. (20%). Ensure data platform scalability, performance, and compliance with data governance, lineage, and security standards. (5%). Provide architectural leadership for data visualization and embedded analytics solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and other tools. (20%) Stay current on emerging trends in cloud data architecture, data mesh, generative AI, and modern data governance technologies. (5%). Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. (20%). Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s or its foreign equivalent in Info Systems, Info. Management, Computer Science, or Info. Technology or closely related discipline. Higher degree accepted but not required. Remote - home benefits available. 60 months’ experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or BI development, with at least 2 years in leadership or managerial role. Must possess 3 years' experience in each of the following:</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· With cloud-native data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks) and modern data stack tools (e.g., Informatica, dbt, Airflow etc.).</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· In translating technical architecture into business value.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· With enterprise business systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and ServiceNow.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· In building scalable, governed, and future-ready data platforms.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· In stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
