In addition you will own the technical strategy, delivery and production operations at scale.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><p>- Own end-to-end engineering delivery of the agentic AI platform</p><p>- Set technical vision and architecture direction for a multi-tenant agentic platform built on AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Strands Agents SDK, and Cedar/AVP authorization</p><p>- Recruit, hire, and develop pillar leads and senior engineers across Identity & Access, Agent Runtime, Observability & FinOps, Catalog & Registry, and Evals & Testing</p><p>- Drive platform security posture — threat modeling for agent delegation chains, prompt injection defence, cross-tenant isolation, and regulatory compliance (SOC2, OCC, FFIEC)</p><p>- Establish engineering standards — ADRs, SDK architecture patterns, code review culture</p><p>- Build and operate the agent onboarding pipeline — enabling adjacent business teams to build, certify, and deploy agents on the platform</p><p>- Define SLOs, operational readiness criteria, and incident response processes for a banking-grade production platform</p><p>- Manage cross-pillar dependencies and technical risk — credential flows, MCP Gateway governance, audit pipeline completeness, and multi-tenant data isolation</p><p>- Partner with Security to establish pre-GA sign-off gates including penetration testing, SAST/DAST integration, and compliance certification</p><p>- Drive FinOps discipline — per-tenant cost attribution, LLM usage optimization, and infrastructure right-sizing</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you will need to have:</b></p><p>- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading engineering teams across multiple product areas or platform pillars</p><p>- Proven track record building and shipping multi-tenant SaaS platforms — ideally in financial services, payments, or regulated industries</p><p>- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, KMS, Cognito, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS) and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">infrastructure-as-code</span> (CDK or Terraform)</p><p>- Strong background in platform engineering — SDK design, API governance, developer experience, and internal platform adoption</p><p>- Experience with identity and authorization architectures — federation, RBAC/ABAC, credential management, tenant isolation patterns</p><p>- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain senior engineering talent in a high-growth environment</p><p>- Experience managing AWS or cloud vendor partnerships with embedded engineering resources</p><p>- Familiarity with security and compliance in financial services — threat modeling, penetration testing, audit requirements, data residency</p><p>- Strong architectural judgment — ability to make build-vs-buy decisions, set technical direction across distributed teams, and manage technical debt</p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)</p><p></p><p><b>What would be nice to have:</b></p><p>- Experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM orchestration, or agentic systems.(agent frameworks, tool use, multi-turn workflows, human-in-the-loop patterns)</p><p>- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, or similar managed AI services.</p><p>- Knowledge of Cedar policy language, Amazon Verified Permissions, or comparable policy engines.</p><p>- Experience with observability at scale — OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, audit pipelines, PII redaction.</p><p>- Background in MCP (Model Context Protocol), agent-to-agent delegation, or governed tool execution.</p><p>- Experience leading platform teams through SOC2 certification, OCC examination readiness, or FFIEC compliance/</p><p>- Prior experience at a fintech, payments processor, or banking technology company.</p><p></p><p><b>Important information about this role:</b></p><ul><li><p>You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
