Overview Location: Remote (EST Hours) Engagement Type: Contract / Consulting Estimated Hours: 20-25 hours per week initially; shifting to as-needed post-assessment. Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Security Consultant to conduct an expert, independent review of our Workday security framework. This consultant will assess current security roles, domain assignments, and configurations, providing an objective analysis along with actionable recommendations to strengthen governance, compliance, and best practices. Responsibilities • Conduct a comprehensive external review of Workday security roles and domain assignments. • Identify nonstandard configurations, blended roles, and potential security risks or inefficiencies. • Evaluate alignment with Workday security best practices and organizational needs. • Provide a detailed, objective assessment with clear, actionable recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify findings and proposed remediation approaches. • Support follow-on security work or enhancements as needed after the initial assessment. Qualifications • Required: Strong hands-on experience with Workday security roles, domains, and user-based security configuration. • Proven ability to assess complex or customized security models. • Experience delivering security assessments and executive-ready recommendations. • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Workday-certified consultant with demonstrated expertise in Workday Security. • Prior experience supporting security assessments in regulated or enterprise environments. • Familiarity with Workday security governance and audit readiness. • Ability to operate independently while partnering effectively with internal teams.
