Title: Wordpress Developer - Remote Location: Remote arenaflex Start Date: 2/23/26 Type: Contract Pay: $50-55/hr Selling Point on Client: Client is a fast-paced precious metals company that is in significant growth mode. Job Description: • We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer (Contract) to support ongoing website maintenance, feature updates, and styling improvements across our WordPress environment. This role requires a strong technical foundation combined with an eye for front-end presentation and usability. The ideal contractor is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues across the WordPress stack, and making precise updates to both code and styling—even in areas not yet managed by page builders like Elementor. Responsibilities: • Perform ongoing WordPress maintenance, updates, and performance improvements • Develop and modify features using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues, including plugin/theme conflicts • Update and fix styling issues across pages, forms, and templates • Make edits to locked or custom-coded pages outside of Elementor • Implement design and UX updates based on provided specifications • Ensure cross-browser and responsive compatibility • Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code Required Skills: • Strong experience developing within WordPress • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Elementor and/or Elementor Pro experience • Experience working with custom themes, templates, and plugins • Comfortable editing code directly (not reliant on page builders) • Solid understanding of front-end styling and layout best practices • Ability to follow detailed instructions and design specs accurately • Self-directed, reliable, and responsive in a contractor environment Bonus Skills: • Experience with Elementor or similar page builders • Familiarity with form styling and optimization • Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
