Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to support our stock managment team on a 6 month contract from March to August 2026.

This role is with our morning shift and the hours are Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a busy warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills mechanical knowledge, contributing to the efficient flow of goods and materials. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with previous warehouse experience or those eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Performing heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
  • Handling materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
  • Preparing orders through picking and packing items accurately for shipment
  • Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
  • Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation and labelling
  • Supporting general warehouse maintenance to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence an advantage
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment such as forklifts
  • Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and load & unload tasks regularly
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of materials handling, stock management, and shipping & receiving processes
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for picking & packing accuracy
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to warehousing operations
