Job Summary:
  • This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storing of incoming material for the warehouse.
  • Basic Computer Skills Required

Performance Standards:
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, suppliers, and employees.
  • Constantly representing of the company in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints, or demeanor.
  • Complying with policies and procedures.
  • Interacting with other employees, suppliers, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Communicating work progress and significant issues to the immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to handle products and warehouse materials.
  • Arrange and organize products and material in a warehouse.
  • Prepare and verify shipment papers.
  • Organize transportation of materials in warehouse.
  • Inspect and verify products, materials, and equipment before storing in warehouse.
  • Execute loading and unloading operations.
  • Store unused raw materials in proper area when processes are complete.
  • Ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices in warehouse operations.
  • Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.

Qualifications:
  • 0 to 3 years warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions for the position held.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit climb or balance; stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
