Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution of materials. This role supervises warehouse personnel and ensures that materials and finished goods are handled, stored, and shipped efficiently, safely, and accurately. The position plays a critical role in supporting production schedules and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations
  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure warehouse organization and layout supports efficient material flow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and production departments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using JobBoss.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
Shipping and Logistics
  • Manage shipping operations including preparation of shipping documents, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate freight shipments with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Ensure orders are packaged and shipped accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor freight costs and recommend cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Track shipments and resolve shipping discrepancies or delays.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Provide training on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
  • Assist in employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and shipping processes.
  • Assist with implementation of new warehouse systems or procedures.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations.
Qualifications

Experience
  • 5 years of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  • JobBOSS software experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and shipping procedures
  • Inventory management and cycle counting experience
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse during shifts
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. The role may involve exposure to moving equipment, varying temperatures, and industrial noise levels.

Compensation: $60-74K Annually
Job Type: Full Time, Monday –Thursday 6:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 6:30am – 11:30am. Sat as needed.
