Shipping Clerk - Warehouse


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of products, contributing to our commitment to excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and staging of orders

- Schedule and arrange transportation for outgoing shipments

- Verify shipment accuracy and completeness against orders and invoices

- Maintain records of shipped items and update inventory management systems

- Inspect outgoing shipments for damages or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly

- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules

- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies during shipping operations


Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or warehouse certifications are a plus

- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if applicable)

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management and shipping software

- Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods
