As a Picker at Leader Online, you will play a crucial role in the fulfilment of customer orders by accurately selecting, handling, and preparing stock for dispatch using warehouse equipment including Reach Trucks. You will work within a fast-paced environment to ensure service level targets are met efficiently and safely.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking & Fulfilment

  • Accurately pick stock in accordance with picking instructions, OTIP targets and dispatch requirements.
  • Operate Reach Trucks safely to retrieve stock from various heights and locations.
  • Ensure items are correctly labelled, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
  • Use handheld scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to log picked items.

Stock Handling & Storage

  • Transport and store stock safely and securely, banding and wrapping as required.
  • Assist in replenishing picking areas from bulk storage.
  • Carry out inventory counts and stock checks to maintain accuracy.

Goods In & Out

  • Support with unloading incoming deliveries and loading outbound shipments as required.
  • Conduct visual quality checks to ensure stock is damage-free and accurate against delivery notes.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Operate all equipment including Reach Trucks in line with safety protocols and training.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring walkways are clear and waste is disposed of correctly.
  • Report any hazards, faulty equipment, or incidents to management immediately.

Performance & Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet department KPIs and service levels.
  • Show initiative in improving efficiency and reducing damages.
  • Demonstrate reliability, accuracy, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Requirements

  • Counterbalance and/or Reach licences.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to targets.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Pivot Steer (Bendi Truck) licence
  • Experience using WMS and handheld scanners.
