Vulnerability Admin II 6-month contract to hire Remote AZ, ID, NV, NM, TX, UT Rate $50.00 to $56.00 per hour Salary 100k to 115k Job Description Our client is looking for a Vulnerability Analyst to add to the team. The individual will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing patches, updated environments, and scheduled outage/change management. Will also evaluate vendor patches for inclusion in the network environment continuously. The individual will partner with other IT departments on the execution, maintenance, and improvement of day-to-day patch management and vulnerability remediation activities. Required Skills • 8 years of network administration experience in a Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto environment • In-depth, working knowledge of arenaflex platform (e.g.; Server, Workstation), multiple Linux distros, virtual machines, Java, Adobe, Web Applications, WebSphere, networking concepts • Vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys) is a must have • Splunk experience • 5 years' experience working in an information security, information technology, or information risk management-related field • 2 years' experience with a patching utility (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless, ect) • Patch management and vulnerability remediation, or other security-related fields • Understanding and experience in identifying and patching vulnerabilities • Knowledge of system testing metrics • Service Now experience Education • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Security certifications such as Security +, CISSP, and CCNP would be nice to have Nice to have • Experience in Project Management • Scripting (Python, Perl, ect) • Able to effectively work independently and in a team environment, with staff at all levels Welcome to ConsultNet and the family of companies, Tekne, SaltClick, TechBridge, and OmniMedia.
