Job Description The Product & Technology Strategy Lead will be a pivotal leader of the corporate strategy team, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer and working very closely with our President, CPO and COO and other members of Executive team on shaping the future of ServiceNow's strategy. This leader will sit at the intersection of technology trends, product innovation, and corporate vision, ensuring our product portfolio evolves in step with customer needs, technological advances, and competitive dynamics. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic insight and operational rigor—able to anticipate market shifts, articulate a compelling vision for the future of AI, and translate insights into clear product priorities that drive growth and category leadership. This person will work closely with the Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales leaders to turn strategy into impact. Key responsibilities: Market & Trend Analysis: Have a pulse on the industry, technology, and market trends (with a focus on AI and SaaS) to proactively identify market shifts and long-term implications on our portfolio and product strategy. Portfolio Strategy: Derive key big rocks to focus the organization that will have business impact and create a cohesive experience across platform and business units to our customers. Thought Leadership: Partner with executive leadership to shape and communicate the company’s perspective on the future of AI and workflows—both internally and externally (e.g.,whitepapers, customer briefings, industry forums). Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance Leaders to ensure product strategy aligns with corporate objectives and delivers measurable business outcomes. Executive Influence: Support development and curation of Board meetings and exec offsites, by facilitating robust discussions on decisions, tradeoffs and priorities. Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, or management consulting within SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology. • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, AI/ML technologies, and workflow automation markets. • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex market and technology signals into clear strategic recommendations. • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to articulate and influence internal and external stakeholders. • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and portfolio decisions in a high-growth environment. • Analytical, structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can balance long-term vision with near-term execution. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $278,700 - $473,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On arenaflex Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
