We’re looking for a VP of Product to lead and scale our talented team of Product Managers and Designers in pioneering The Homebuilding Cloud — the only connected platform that revolutionizes how homebuilders design, sell, and build new homes and communities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a member of the executive team and play a crucial role in strategizing, developing, and executing on our product vision and roadmap. In this high impact leadership role, you’ll maintain the tight-knit dynamic between our Product and Engineering teams as we expand our product portfolio and grow our market share. As the ideal candidate, you’ve led B2B SaaS products with a fair degree of complexity targeting mid-market and enterprise customers — if you have SMB experience as well, that’s great. You are commercially oriented and have seen substantial growth from $10-$100M ARR. You have an ability to both “do and direct” – you possess a strong desire to delve into the details and engage deeply with customers to develop your strategic point of view first-hand. We’re looking for product excellence; experience in homebuilding or AEC is not required. About the Job • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire an exceptional team of product managers and designers, fostering an environment that is collaborative and results-driven. • Strategy Development: Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute a strategic vision for our product lines, ensuring alignment with our ambitious business goals. • Product Roadmap and Delivery: Oversee the creation of the annual and quarterly product roadmap ensuring priorities align with the short and long-term needs of the business. Collaborate with VP of Engineering to build high performing teams that deliver high quality products, on-time and within budget. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure tight collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to guarantee successful product launches and continuous iteration. • Market & User Research: Lead market and user research to inform and validate product strategy and feature development, acting as a champion for user needs. • Commercialization and Growth: Influence the commercialization strategy, including pricing and packaging, and identify opportunities for product expansion and enhancement. • Executive Leadership: Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, engaging with board directors and participating in strategic decision-making processes. About You • Experienced Leader: With 15+ years in product management and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, you bring a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams. • Strategic Planner: You have experience crafting product strategies that drive growth and propel products from good to great. You can lead the organization through annual product strategy and headcount planning. • Customer Obsessed: Everything you do revolves around the needs of the customer and you have experience with user research, user-centered design, and rapid prototyping to test and learn quickly.. • Outcome Oriented: You have experience making difficult prioritization decisions and carefully weigh resource allocation to best align with company goals. You develop outcome-based roadmaps that align with business goals and ensure teams are driving impact. • Operationally Minded: You’ve developed a product operations function, including customer feedback loops, quality measurement (cNPS), product analytics, and launch processes. • Commercially Oriented: You know how to leverage product development to drive new sources of revenue.
