Private Family in Miami Beach, FL Seeking a Personal Assistant


Position: Full-Time Live-Out Personal Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (with occasional availability for urgent matters)
Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
Start Date: $135,000-$165,000/year depending on experience and longevity in roles.
Relocation: No – local Miami Beach candidates only


About the Family

A kind private family located in Miami Beach is seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant to support their busy household and dynamic schedules. The family values discretion, reliability, and professionalism, and they are looking for someone who will be a long-term, trusted support person.

Children: Two children involved in very active sports schedules
Household Staff: Fully staffed household environment


Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize the family’s very active calendars and schedules

  • Book travel, meetings, and reservations for the family

  • Coordinate domestic travel 4–5 times per year to the family’s other residences (including Aspen, the Hamptons, and NYC) for short trips of 2–3 days to prepare homes prior to the family’s arrival

  • Prepare properties before family arrival including grocery shopping, ensuring homes are stocked, and confirming everything is functioning properly

  • Track expenses, pay household bills, and maintain organized financial records

  • Answer emails and assist with correspondence

  • Run light errands and assist with general household logistics

  • Coordinate schedules around children’s sports and family commitments

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times


Ideal Candidate & Personality

The ideal candidate is extremely organized, calm, and discreet, with significant experience supporting private families. They should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities without needing constant direction. A quiet, composed personality is essential, as the family values privacy and a peaceful household environment. This role requires someone who is dependable, trustworthy, and comfortable working behind the scenes to keep the household running smoothly.


Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working as a Personal Assistant for private families

  • Each previous role must reflect a minimum of 2 years with each family

  • Verifiable references from the last three positions

  • Must live locally in Miami Beach

  • Willingness to travel 4–5 times per year for short trips (2–3 days) to prepare the family’s homes

  • Legal to work in the United States

  • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

  • Strong experience managing calendars, travel booking, and household logistics

  • Highly organized with strong administrative and communication skills

  • Professional, discreet, and calm demeanor
