INTERNSHIP DETAILS
 

Period: 4 – 6 months

Hours per week: 32 – 40

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam-Zuid office + work from home)

Start date: flexible, first day of the month

THE WORK

You will be an intern within the CMT group, part of the Accenture Technology organization. During this period, you will do research about a topic and write your thesis in one of the fastest growing business areas in the world. Accenture will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge with the most innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies.
 

Research

Generative AI is a technology set to fundamentally transform everything from science to business, to healthcare and society itself. The positive impact on human creativity and productivity will be massive. Companies will use Generative AI to reinvent their products, business models and their business operations (how work is performed).

As a research intern, you will focus on the topic ‘’Generative AI - How it can be used to transform the CMT industry. Research on practical use cases.’’

You will be given the freedom to discuss the thesis proposal with our colleagues and mutually agree on a meaningful research subject. Together with your supervisor, you define a full-fledged assignment that enables you to study at the program and make a valuable contribution to Accenture.

Practical Experience

Besides writing your thesis on one of the fastest growing areas in the technology world, you will be given the opportunity to learn about the newest disrupting methodologies and technologies. You will be given the opportunity to work on the topic of ‘’Business Process Management’’. More specifically, you will research what BPM means and what is required from CMT clients to be successful in this critical topic (frameworks, governance, resources, technology). For this task you will be guided by our senior colleagues and will also have the opportunity to network with the experts in this area within the organization.
 

Community

You will be part of an active intern community where we meet to exchange ideas and learn from each other, organize events with interesting guest speakers from different areas, learn from firsthand how Accenture is guiding clients to select and implement the right technologies and re-invent their business.

Within all our internships, we offer you the opportunity to develop, learn, orient, build relationships and gain insights into what it’s like to work as a consultant. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your work as well as your academical needs and happy to help you navigate in the beginning of your career.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • You are currently in your final year of your university and

    enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.

  • You are writing your thesis and are available for a period of 4-6 months.

  • You are technology-savvy and interested in following the latest trends.

  • You have a structured way of working and thinking.

  • You are a team player who can help bring the team to the next level.

  • Dutch is your primary language, and English is your secondary language.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Knowledge in the topic of Generative AI

  • Knowledge in the topic of Business Process Management (frameworks, governance, process design, process mining, robotics process automation)
