We are looking for a Telecom Rigger to join our team :


Key Responsibilities


Telecom Rigging & Installation


Carry out telecom rigging and installation activities including installation of coaxial cables for audio and video transmission and laying of various cable types using approved tools and methods in operational environments.


Terminate all types of cables including armoured, CAT, networking, indoor, and outdoor cables, along with associated peripherals such as patch panels, routers, connectors, and adapters.


Perform fiber optic cable works including laying, splicing, termination, and installation of splitters, switches, connectors, and adapters.


Install and terminate telecom and network sockets in accordance with engineering standards and best practices.


Assemble and install antennas on towers and rooftops, including alignment and adjustment of C-band, KU-band, KA-band, radio, and microwave antennas.


Install antenna mounts, perform grounding systems, and conduct first-level testing using appropriate test and alignment equipment.


Maintenance, Support & Operations


Assist telecom engineers during preventive and corrective maintenance activities as required.


Ensure proper inspection, use, and maintenance of tools, test equipment, and work areas.


Supervise and support other telecom hook-up and installation activities when required.


Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing telecommunication systems.


Safety, Compliance & Permits


Comply with applicable safety and HSE procedures and requirements.


Work under Permit to Work (PTW) systems including Hot Work, Cold Work, and Working at Heights, acting in authorized roles when required.


Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain all required safety training and certifications, including offshore and working-at-height certifications.


Professional Experience


Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in telecom rigging with exposure to a wide range of telecommunication systems.


Familiarity with telecom systems including SSB, VHF, UHF, VSAT, NDB, WiMAX, Microwave, and SMATV systems.
