The Role: Technology Strategy Manager, Digital Job Summary: The Technology Strategist serves as the senior delivery and technical-strategy lead for a multi-phase AI Platform SRE transformation. This role owns alignment between business objectives, reliability targets, architecture decisions, and execution across a 12-month transition from vendor-led to client-owned operations. The Strategist partners with executive stakeholders, SRE leadership, and architects to define success criteria, guide operating model adoption, oversee phased handoffs, and ensure measurable progress toward automation, reliability, and operational independence. Travel Requirements: In this role you will be expected to travel up to 10%. The candidate will be empowered to contract with account managers (AMs), DSAEs, and their colleagues to defer travel or find alternative means to travel (e.g., WebEx, virtual workshops, etc.). The discipline’s success depends on its relationships with AMs, DSAEs, and their leaders, so the candidate must prioritize in-person and virtual relationship building. Responsibilities include: • Lead overall technical strategy and execution governance across all four phases (Align, Operationalize, Automate, Transition) • Translate business and AI Factory objectives into reliability, security, performance, and automation targets • Own end-state SRE operating model definition and phased adoption • Guide architectural and tooling decisions to balance innovation with operational stability • Serve as primary escalation point for cross-team technical and delivery risks • Facilitate executive alignment, design sign-offs, and phase exit approvals • Ensure success metrics (availability, automation coverage, MTTR, FinOps targets) are defined and tracked • Coordinate with Solution Owner, Principal Architect, and DevOps Architect to maintain coherence across workstreams • Support client capability building through structured shadowing, guided operations, and transition milestones • Provide strategic oversight for Innovation POD activation and outcomes Required Skills and Professional Experience: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience • Enterprise technology strategy and large-scale transformation leadership • 6-10 years in enterprise technology leadership or consulting • Prior Fortune 500 / mission-critical platform experience • Site Reliability Engineering principles and operating models • Executive stakeholder engagement and governance • Cloud-native and on-prem platform strategy • Risk management and delivery assurance • Metrics-driven decision making Preferred Skills and Professional Experience: • AI platform or GPU-based workload familiarity • FinOps and cost governance exposure • Regulated or high-availability environment • Experience working for one of the Big 4 consulting firms Your future at PresidioJoining Presidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers—thinkers, builders, and collaborators—who push the boundaries of what’s possible.
