The Opportunity In this position, you will prepare PEO and employer state plan filings with required states for PFML compliance requirements, in coordination with Customer Service teams.

Responsibilities include preparation (customize) and delivery of necessary state plan documentation to new business customers, including state plan policies and worksite posters. Prepare and update content of worksite posters annually for inforce state plan customers in NY and NJ and deliver to customers with deadlines. Supporting annual reporting efforts including creating reports.

Collaborate with Customer Service teams to finalize reports with customer inputs and submit the report in accordance with state deadlines; current states include MA, HI and PR. Provide consultation and guidance to Customer Service teams, other internal teams, as well as external teams (customers/brokers) on state plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and file state plan new business, modifications, and cancellations for state plan customers.
  • Prepare documentation for annual state plans including worksite posters, amendments based on regulatory changes, and/or book of business reporting.
  • Prepare and respond to requests for certificates of state plan compliance for inforce customers on request.
  • Effectively communicate state plan requirements for state plan customers to maintain their compliance with state laws and regulation.
  • Coordinate, prepare and file detailed state plan reports in HI and PR within deadlines.
Required Qualifications Required :
  • Competent level of contract knowledge and technical writing skills
  • Familiar with PFML regulations pertaining to policy and filing procedures with compliance contracts
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of MetLife relevant systems)
  • Group insurance experience
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and partnership skills
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience with analysis of conceptual provisions and regulatory requirements
The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms. Benefits We Offer Our U.S.
