What is the primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?Your main focuses in this role will be:
Use you deep subject matter expertise to operate and support Office 365 core collaboration services: Exchange Online, Exchange On-Prem, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneNote, Security & Compliance Center, Office ProPlus and OneDrive for Business
Deliver a frictionless and delightful colleague experience by integrating services with the entire communications and collaboration portfolio of services
Apply your expert knowledge of Azure Active Directory, EMS, Microsoft Identity Platform, PowerShell for managing on-premise and O365 environment, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure, file transfer protocols, API's and troubleshooting data-flows
Improve work processes through proactive discovery, recommendation, planning, migration, and implementation
Proactively identify and mitigate potential service issues. Respond to and manage active service incidents / outages to resolution while communicating clearly with colleagues.
What is the secondary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
Expertise with GCP / Google Cloud Computing Services & Google federated identity
Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, and Google App Engine
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Ensure that your UCC portfolio operates securely, with 24/7 availability and delivers a frictionless and delightful colleague experience
Automate, eliminate, and shift manual tasks to reduce L3 ticket volumes in UCC while increasing colleague delight
Work with product managers to create a product roadmap for your core collaboration services (O365 and Google Workspace)
Improve the calendaring and scheduling experience for our global workforce
Learn and take on net new service offerings, such as Google Workspace
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Support and operate your core collaboration services (O365 and Google Workspace) through proactive development, maintenance, operations and reactive L3 ticketing
Develop close relationships with strategic vendors to understand and influence service roadmaps, and ensure smooth commercial engagement
Use your experience managing and supporting SaaS platforms including your ability to integrate and develop environments using APIs
Automate and integrate systems and processes to reduce the support burden and ensure a frictionless colleague experience
Respond to and lead resolution for service incidents and outages
Partner with UCC architects, product managers and colleagues to ideate and innovate solutions to complex problems
