Acting as a key liaison between Remote Operations, Production teams, league representatives, and venue staff, you will also support other NBC Sports properties as needed. This position reports to the Director, MLB Operations.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Act as an effective communication conduit between Remote Operations Management, Production teams, and League contacts</li><li>Partner with staff and freelance Production Managers, as well as stadium, arena, and tournament personnel, to coordinate mobile unit arrival, scheduling, and on-site requirements</li><li>Work closely with Production, Talent, and Technical Managers to support show needs and ensure smooth execution</li><li>Oversee all event logistics, including credentials, compound set-up, security, catering, transportation, and travel adjustments</li><li>Manage crew hour reporting, oversee hiring, and collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing</li><li>Identify, onboard, and evaluate production support roles (e.g., runners, spotters, stage managers, makeup, statisticians)</li><li>Manage multiple budgets in collaboration with the show’s Producer and Finance team, ensuring all expenses are accurately tracked and invoices are paid on time</li><li>Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality</li><li>Travel extensively during the MLB season and as needed for other NBC Sports properties</li><li>Support both represented and non-represented personnel</li><li>This role will focus on MLB on NBC, but will be involved in other NBC Sports Properties as needed</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><p><u>Basic Requirements:</u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience</li><li>Minimum of five (5+) years of experience in production operations or related roles</li><li>Solid understanding of production equipment, processes, and operational procedures</li><li>Proven understanding and competency of the Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Experience managing high-profile, large-scale productions</li><li>Familiarity with Smartsheet</li></ul><p><u>Desired Characteristics:</u></p><ul><li>Prior experience working with MLB and venue operations</li><li>Ability to learn and utilize internal systems quickly</li><li>Able to work independently and deliver timely results </li><li>Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners at all levels</li><li>Highly organized, resourceful, efficient, and dependable with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to adapt to last-minute changes and manage multiple priorities under pressure</li><li>Solid problem-solving skills and sound judgment in time-sensitive situations, with the ability to escalate when necessary</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across internal and external teams and vendors</li><li>Experience managing multiple production projects simultaneously</li><li>Familiarity with union regulations and practices</li></ul><p><u>Additional Requirements:</u></p><ul><li>Ability to travel frequently, including weekends and holidays, sometimes on short notice</li><li>Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States</li><li>Must be 18 years or older</li></ul><p><strong>Fully Remote:</strong> This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.</p><p>This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
