We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and customer focused Sr. Manager - Payment Solution Consultant to join Visa’s Consulting & Analytics – Implementation Services team. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives at the intersection of technology, payments, and product thinking. This is a highly client-facing role that goes beyond traditional implementation—requiring the ability to act as a product partner, shape solutions, and influence outcomes based on client needs. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, responsible for leading and supporting the end-to-end technical solution and implementation of payment products while also wearing the Product Manager hat capturing business requirements and translating into scalable technical solutions, prioritizing features, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring solutions deliver real business value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, assess current-state architecture and define future-state vision.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Produce core implementation artifacts – solution design, integration diagrams, test plans, etc.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the client implementation lifecycle—from design to go-live, guiding clients on best practices and solution optimization.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on client value, feasibility, and impact.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to influence product direction.
  • Define use cases, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead solution implementation collaborating with cross-function teams to review technical design, integrations, and configurations.
  • Review client architectures, data flows, and technical documentation for end-to-end payment flows.
  • Partner with internal and client Product and Delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Strong background in payments, financial services, and technology consulting, with deep expertise in global banking and payment card systems, merchant acquiring, and processing.
  • Advanced understanding of the end‑to‑end payments ecosystem, including transaction lifecycle, tokenization, fraud, disputes, compliance, and broader banking concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience across eCommerce, mobile, and point‑of‑sale technologies, with knowledge of fraud management, PCI, and product management strongly preferred.
  • Current knowledge of emerging payment trends, mandates, technologies, and the competitive landscape.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to engage effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with proven success working across global, cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong experience operating in Agile environments, including Jira Management, SDLC, roadmap development, requirements prioritization, user stories, and backlog grooming.
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and self‑motivation in fast‑paced, evolving environments, with a strong passion for digital commerce, merchants, and payments technology.
