The Senior Manager, Global Insurance and Risk Management plays a vital role on a team tasked with creating and overseeing Asurion's global insurance and risk program. The Senior Manager will support management in and lead the development, implementation, and management of various programs within the global program structure and will also be responsible for claims within those programs. This will include directly engaging with insurance brokers, carriers, and TPAs/consultants. Here's what a day in the life will look like: • Day-to-day program and relationship management across local / international stakeholders • Analysis and design of risk and insurance aspects of contracts and compliance by proactively identifying and assessing Asurion's insurable-type exposures • Compile and organize underwriting data to support insurance program development and renewal processes • Prepare analysis & recommendations showing the pros-cons of different program structures and available coverage options • Analyze loss-claim trends to facilitate dialogue on optimal risk management strategy, balancing risk-transfer/insurance, and other potential risk management actions • Manage claims reporting process and achieving recovery from insurance programs • Communicate market and industry conditions and developments to stakeholders • Develop and analyze data to support the measurement and reporting on Risk Management program performance and drive continuous improvement • Consult with business and staff group leaders on program design and the risk-insurance aspects of current and new business initiatives, ventures, operations, product development, new geographies, etc. • Participate in and lead Global Risk Management projects Here's what you'll bring to the team: • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of risk management, consulting, claims management or related experience; MBA or advanced risk/insurance training (ARM, CPCU, other) a plus • Strong knowledge of risk management, corporate insurance coverages/ language, and risk financing concepts/practice • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills to effectively gather and review large amounts of data when evaluating risks • An independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills; must be able to use data to form conclusions and identify strategies to approach potential risks • An excellent suite of communication skills (written, oral/active listening) We take care of you: • Competitive pay and benefits • Inclusive medical, dental, and vision coverage options • Retirement planning • Discretionary paid time off • Career growth and development opportunities • Everyone belongs in our commUnity - learn more about Life at Asurion here Get to know us: As the world's leading tech care company, Asurion eliminates the fears and frustrations associated with technology, to ensure our nearly 300 million customers get the most out of their devices, appliances and connections.
