Job Overview: This is a mini-COO role for someone who lives at the intersection of finance, operations, and analytics. As the Senior Financial & Operations Analyst, you will own FP&A, commission modeling, operational reporting, and cross-functional process optimization. You’ll work directly with executive leadership to bring clarity, rigor, and structure to how the business runs — turning data into decisions. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across the business • Build and maintain revenue, cost, and profitability models (by channel, product, and partner) • Develop scenario analyses to support strategic decisions and growth planning • Create executive-ready dashboards and reporting for leadership Commission & Compensation Operations • Design, maintain, and audit commission and incentive models • Ensure accurate, timely calculation and reconciliation of commissions and renewals • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to continuously improve commission processes • Identify leakage, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization Operations & Business Analytics • Act as an internal operator across Sales Ops, Finance Ops, and general business operations • Build scalable processes, workflows, and documentation as the company grows • Translate messy operational data into clean, actionable insights • Support vendor management, contract economics, and cost-control initiatives Executive Support & Strategic Projects • Serve as a thought partner to leadership on operational and financial strategy • Lead ad hoc analyses, board-level reporting, and special projects • Help prepare the business for scale, audits, and future capital or partnership opportunities Ideal Candidate Profile Required • Advanced Excel expertise (complex formulas, models, pivots, scenario analysis — this is non-negotiable) • Prior FP&A or financial analytics experience (healthcare, insurance, fintech, or SaaS preferred) • Strong understanding of revenue models, commissions, and variable compensation • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to zoom out strategically • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment • Self-starter who can operate independently and drive outcomes Preferred • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries • Experience building financial and operational infrastructure from scratch • Familiarity with CRMs, commission systems, or data integrations (Salesforce a plus) • Exposure to executive-level reporting or board support What We Offer • Competitive compensation with upside as the company grows • High-visibility role with direct access to leadership • Opportunity to shape how the business operates at a foundational level • Fast growth, real ownership, and career trajectory toward Director/VP Operations • Fully remote environment with flexibility and autonomy Perks: • Fortune 500 Level Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision • 401(k) + Company Match • $250 remote office setup reimbursement • 40 Vacation Hours per Year • Employee Discount Programs How to Apply: Ready to be part of something exciting and bring your sales game to the next level?
