What you will do:

  • Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

All you will need for success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS / MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience / training.
  • Must be willing to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS / MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience / training.
  • Airline Industry experience.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

All candidates will need 3+ years' experience with:

  • Apollo GraphQL Experience.

Operate and maintain our Apollo GraphQL Federation infrastructure, including

Apollo Gateway / Router, schema composition pipelines.

  • Integrate GraphQL with various backend data source (Eg., Rest API's, database).
  • Implement and enforce schema governance, versioning and access controls.
  • Monitor, debug and optimize GraphQL performance using Apollo Studio, Open Telemetry and other tools.
  • Collaborate with backend service teams to onboard new subgraphs and ensure compliance with federation and schema design guidelines.
  • Apigee experience.
  • Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee Edge.
  • Defining overall API architecture / implementations, integration and deployment of API management platforms and API security and Access control (SAML, Web SSO, SSL / TLS etc.).
  • Design API Publishing guidelines, API Product designing and implementation of workflow for API Consumer onboarding on Apigee Developer Portal.
  • Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Encryption / decryption.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and Nodejs.
  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, schema composition, and API lifecycle management.

Experience with Apollo Router or custom Apollo Gateway solutions.

  • Experience with API testing tools and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network.

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with all organizational levels.
  • Physical ability necessary to perform the position's essential functions safely and successfully, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship. Must be able to lift 35lbs.
