The Software Architect will be entrusted with the design and development of architecture around our web-based products that delight our clients and scale out to millions of users. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience of building arenaflex Cloud Architecture within the organization, driving quality and focus within respective teams and effectively communicating with leadership. The role operates in an innovative, fast-paced environment and requires hands-on involvement to ensure successful outcomes. Requiring active engagement in problem-solving and execution, balancing efficiency with collaboration to achieve objectives. This position contributes directly to delivering results while fostering a productive and dynamic work culture. The Gig: • Responsible for designing, implementing, and collaborating with teams on both cloud native and hybrid architectures. • Analyzes system requirements and ensures that new systems will be securely integrated with current applications. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Comply with all policies and standards. What you need to make the cut: • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering • 4-7+ years’ experience in arenaflex Web Services Cloud Architecture • 10-15+ years Architecting technical solutions for business needs • Extensive knowledge of Java, Git, SQL, and front-end technologies like React. • Experience driving large projects from conception to implementation. • Experience deploying infrastructure as code using CloudFormation. • Has a deep understanding of system development in arenaflex Web Services cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) • Performing hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems • Translate business requirements into design/application builds. • Integrate multiple technologies with AWS. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in nature. • Ability to conceptualize and implement an application from the ground up in the cloud. • Experience migrating monolithic applications to the cloud. • Ability to determine long term organizational architectural plans to meet business objectives. • Ability to direct engineering and Dev Ops work on architectural plans to scale your impact throughout the company. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS Solution Architect Certification preferred. The pay range for this position is $124,500 to $194,500 per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). This role is eligible to participate in the bonus incentive plan.
