Responsibilities • Lead Category Delivery Teams on Client Engagements, build strong relationships across client organizations, influencing decision-making at all levels to drive strategic outcomes • Analyze client spend to identify and estimate direct material cost savings opportunities • Design and propose procurement strategies that deliver maximum value and deliver on client imperatives (i.e. safety, quality, throughput), leveraging market insights, experience and leading practices • Foster collaboration across client organizations, (i.e. procurement, engineering, manufacturing) suppliers and Proxima to execute project objectives and achieve project sourcing and savings goals • Oversee supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles, ensuring success and improved performance • Develop negotiation strategies with clients and lead discussions with suppliers, providing commercial guidance on contract structures, models, and terms and conditions • Coordinate the development of transition plans to manage suppliers entering and exiting a client’s business • Monitor and analyze the MRO marketplace to enhance Proxima assets and supporting world-class project delivery • Mentor junior team members, support their career growth, career advancement and development of industrial and manufacturing acumen across the company Requirements • Ability to demonstrate a working understanding of MRO supplier markets, offerings and operations; including expertise in handling subcategories such as: PPE, PVF, electrical, PTB, gaskets & sealing, hardware, HVAC, repair parts, general spares and/or lab supplies) • Ability to demonstrate experience employing strategies to drive value through the use of strategic sourcing, improved commercial clauses, contracts and logistics strategies (i.e. global sourcing, tariff mitigation, P2P process improvement, Vendor Managed Inventory, contract performance/health metrics, etc.) • Ability to demonstrate strong procurement acumen and leading multi-stakeholder teams to measurable outcomes; driving value from traditional procurement and through identifying broader operational improvements in the business • Ability to demonstrate success in challenging the status quo and driving transformation and operational improvement • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics, with the ability to present insights that influence decisions • Exceptional planning, negotiation, and communication skills (written and verbal) Benefits • We offer a competitive salary, market-leading benefits, flexible working, and offer support towards personal learning and development courses or training.
