Position: Senior IT Specialist
Location: 100% Remote (LATAM preferred)
Employment Type: Contractor – Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
Compensation: Based on experience and technical expertise


About the Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Specialist to join our remote IT team. This role is perfect for a highly skilled and proactive professional who can handle advanced troubleshooting, manage infrastructure remotely, and provide top-quality technical support to clients and internal teams.

You will work closely with our Head of IT to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems and client environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support and remote troubleshooting for network, hardware, and software issues.

  • Manage and monitor servers, user accounts, and security settings in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and cloud environments.

  • Administer, configure, and maintain IT systems, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Support automation and integration of IT systems using tools like Zoho, Monday, or similar platforms.

  • Document procedures, updates, and system configurations to ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Assist in onboarding new users and managing system access across multiple client accounts.

  • Escalate complex incidents to the Head of IT while maintaining ownership and follow-up.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, system reliability, and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards across all environments.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure administration, or systems management.

  • Strong knowledge of networking, Windows and Mac environments, VPNs, and cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote management tools.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English (B2–C1 level required).

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.

  • Reliable workstation setup and stable internet connection.
