Actively seeks out work from more senior team members and begins to execute defined activities. Begins to build knowledge of the business. <strong>Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:</strong>     •    Assist in planning, evaluating and testing the design of technology controls.  •    Measure progress and effectiveness of technology controls and its application throughout the business cycles.  •    Ability to obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, address the relevant audit objectives, and demonstrates its relevance to the rest of the audit.  •    Documenting the results of their audit work in accordance with KPMG Audit Methodology, regulatory requirements, and using applicable IT systems and tools.  •    Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements.  •    Identifying audit differences and issues, and communicate audit findings to senior management and clients.  •    Attending and applying all audit and accounting training within the set deadlines.  •    Help clients identify performance improvement opportunities.  •    Ability to coach staff effectively during fieldwork. <strong>Qualification and Experience</strong> •    5 to 7 years of experience in IT auditing preferably with a Big 4 Audit firm in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, risk assessment, business process reengineering, Enterprise Resource Planning packages (SAP or Oracle). •    Post Graduate degree in any of the fields of Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Finance & Technology, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Accounting & Technology.  •    Knowledge in ERP systems (i.e. SAP), databases (i.e. MYSQL, Oracle), operating systems would be an added advantage.  •    Knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards •    Qualified in any of the following international professional qualifications - CISA or CIA, CPA (preferable) •    Demonstrates basic knowledge of providing services related to controls around the financial reporting, compliance and operational processes, including business process and IT management controls, which delivers the following:    COSO Framework, CoBIT and/or other leading business and IT control frameworks;  Key domains of information technology general controls, including change management, access to programs and data, computer operations and systems development;   Financial reporting and information technology risks, processes and controls;  Current technologies which may include: Oracle, SAP, Oracle Database, web development tools, UNIX, Linux, and security technologies. •    Have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. •    Independent, self-motivated and results oriented. •    Demonstrate the ability to work in a team and fast pace environment with tight deadlines.
