We're looking for a seasoned SAP Integration Engineer with experience in Digital Payment Add-Ons (DPA) experience to support one of our clients in Atlanta. As the technical owner of SAP DPA, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and maintaining secure, scalable digital payment processes across SAP S/4HANA and connected systems. This role focuses on enabling seamless customer payment experiences by leveraging DPA’s capabilities to connect SAP with leading payment service providers (PSPs), eCommerce platforms, and financial institutions. The engineer will work closely with finance, eCommerce, and IT teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and flexible payment operations. This is a 100% remote role, must live in the United States, and will be a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities: • Integrate and configure SAP Digital Payments Add‑On (DPA) to support credit card, ACH, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods. • Build and maintain interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external PSPs using DPA’s standardized framework. • Collaborate with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Corevist, SAP Commerce Cloud) to enable real‑time payment authorization, tokenization, and settlement. • Design secure payment flows leveraging DPA’s native capabilities for encryption, token handling, and PCI‑scoped architecture. • Implement and optimize payment processes such as authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, reversals, and dispute handling. • Troubleshoot payment integration issues across SAP, DPA, and PSP systems, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. • Monitor and improve payment performance, including error handling, logging, and exception workflows. Required Qualifications: • Hands‑on experience implementing or supporting SAP Digital Payments Add‑On (DPA) in S/4HANA or ECC environments. • Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies: SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, IDocs, OData, SOAP/REST APIs. • Experience integrating SAP with PSPs such as Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Worldpay, Fiserv, or bank payment networks. • Knowledge of payment processing flows: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation. • Familiarity with PCI‑DSS, tokenization, encryption, and secure payment architecture. • Experience with SAP financial modules (FI/CO, FSCM, SD Billing). • Proficiency in data transformation formats (XML, JSON) and mapping tools. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for diagnosing complex integration issues. • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile environments.
