The Sales and Market Manager is a key member of the sales team for the HVAC/R and plumbing supply channel of Armacell. The Sales and Market Manager is responsible for developing and achieving maximum sales volume and profit in defined territory in line with Armacell North America Strategic Plan. This position is also responsible for establishing customer relationships, assessing customers’ technical requirements and assisting Armacell in the development of products to meet the customer’s needs.

This is a remote position, ideally based in or near the metropolitan areas of Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, or Austin. The assigned territory covers Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Job Responsibilities

  • Exceed territory sales budget by executing the national sales strategy.

  • Perform market analysis to develop competitive pricing strategies to achieve territory budget requirements and deliver the national sales strategy.

  • Establish new customer relationships while excelling with existing clients.

  • Manage manufacturing representatives, wholesalers, contractors and representatives to assist in the development of products to meet customer’s needs.

  • Develop new business targets to replace alternative materials in conjunction with the Demand Creation team.

  • Manage key account strategy creation and account documentation in Salesforce.com.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate customized sales and marketing programs to optimize share at distributors.

  • Conduct effective customer research by building relationships with senior members and identifying opportunities to expand product offerings.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, sales deals and other programs consistent with channel strategy.

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of existing and new product offerings as well as general industry technology by attending regional and national tradeshows.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience required with industry knowledge preferred.

  • Must have a proven track record of developing effective relationships with customer and providing technical support.

  • Prior experience in related foam sales with manufacturer representative and plumbing and/or HVAC/R wholesale relationships preferred.

  • Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with a CRM system – salesforce.com would be optimal

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 65%.

  • Successful candidate would report to the segment Business Manager.

The expected compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 -$120,000.00.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
