Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and incident prevention. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, ensuring safety and security at all times. Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of the site to deter unauthorised access and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies by recognising suspicious behaviour and intervening appropriately.
  • Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
  • Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorisation of visitors and staff.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and update security policies and procedures.

Experience

  • Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is essential.
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring techniques is advantageous.
  • Basic first aid certification is desirable to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
  • Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify unusual activity or potential risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting incidents clearly and professionally. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of maintaining composure under pressure while ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding security standards at all times.
