Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a drive to excel in a fast-paced environment. As a Loan Processor, you will play a vital role in facilitating the mortgage application process from initial application to closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. We have a thorough pre-processing/pre-underwriting process that ensures a high pull through ratio.


Responsibilities:



  • Processes a pipeline of FHA, VA, USDA, Non-Conforming, and Conforming mortgage transactions.
  • Collect and verify documentation from borrowers, including employment history, and credit reports.
  • Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to ensure smooth processing of mortgage applications.
  • Communicate using Texting, Calling and emails.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, such as appraisers and title companies, to facilitate timely processing of loans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan documentation and correspondence.

Qualifications:



  • Experience with ARIVE LOS is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven experience as a mortgage loan processor or similar role in the financial industry.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Strong understanding of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and documentation requirements.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to Rapid Task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide excellent customer service to mortgage applicants, both verbal and written, maintaining an open line of communication with the applicant and professional partners throughout the processing period, assisting them with any questions and notifying them of additional information required.

  • Notifying MLO, borrowers, and applicable other sources of any underwriting decisions and reworking a file as needed.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
