Lee Health is seeking a visionary Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead the design, integration, and governance of our enterprise-wide cloud strategy. This senior technology leader will shape the future of cloud computing across our health system, bridging innovation, security, and business strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a unified cloud architecture spanning Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments
  • Establish and govern a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to drive best practices, cost efficiency, and innovation
  • Partner with the Information Security Officer to design and maintain secure cloud environments adhering to HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST standards
  • Develop frameworks and guardrails that ensure secure, compliant, and resilient architectures for clinical and enterprise workloads
  • Support AI and machine learning initiatives by architecting cloud platforms that enable large language model (LLM) development and rapid prototyping
  • Integrate multi-cloud services, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and seamless collaboration between data, AI, and infrastructure teams
  • Provide expert guidance on FinOps, automation, DevSecOps, and cloud-native technologies
  • Mentor technical teams and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation across the organization

Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years in architecture, design, and deployment of distributed systems or cloud environments
  • 5+ years in cloud solution architecture or platform engineering (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Proven experience in automation, scripting (Python, Shell), DevOps/DevSecOps, and hybrid cloud management
  • Deep understanding of IAM, encryption, private networking, and cloud-native security controls
  • Demonstrated leadership in multi-cloud strategy, security architecture, and AI platform enablement
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect / AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • CISSP or CCSP (Security/Cloud Security)
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • TOGAF Certification
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience integrating AI/ML solutions and healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM)
  • HITRUST Practitioner or NIST AI Risk Management Framework
  • Azure AI Engineer Associate or AWS Machine Learning Specialty
