Position Summary: ​The Regulatory Product Compliance Manager will ensure the company's products adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. They monitor evolving rules, develop compliance strategies, and collaborate with technical and legal teams to integrate compliance from the product development stage through release. Key duties include interpreting regulations, conducting risk assessments, and managing the documentation and auditing processes to ensure products are safe, reliable, and legally compliant and meet applicable certification requirements. ​

This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the ​Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer​.

What you will do:
  • Monitor and stay current on federal and state laws, regulations and industry standards (e.g., ACTA, FCC, TIA, FDA, GSMA IMEI) and ensure the company's products align with all applicable requirements, communicating any relevant changes internally.
  • Create and implement compliance policies and programs to guide product development and when applicable business operations.
  • Work with legal, engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure compliance requirements are met at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain technical files, declarations of conformity and product labeling, and manage regulatory documentation, including the review and approval of any documentation submitted to testing or certification bodies, and conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • If necessary, represent the company in meetings and consultations with regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure organization processes and controls are aligned with regulatory and product compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the process for obtaining and maintaining necessary product certifications and approvals from regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate standards changes to leadership and advise on compliance risks or opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Regulatory Affairs, Business, Quality or a related field.
  • 10 years of combined relevant work experience in regulatory compliance, product compliance, telecommunications or related fields.
  • A strong understanding of telecommunications technology and standards.​
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong time management and organization skills and able to meet deadlines.​
  • Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.
  • Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

  • Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
  • Keyboarding (70-90%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%)
Work Environment:
100% Remote: Work environment is at home.

Remote with Travel: Work environment is primarily indoors at home, customer or vendor site, or other business meeting venue; exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during travel, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions.

Compensation:
$105,000 to $119,000 plus 5% bonus determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations.
