POSITION SUMMARY: $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT Your skill and dedication = our team’s success Currently, we're seeking a Property Maintenance Specialist ready to bring their assembly and repair skills to our luxury properties in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. In this role, you’ll handle routine maintenance like a pro able to confidently deal with any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues that pop up. You'll also collaborate closely with our Property Inspectors and third-party vendors, utilizing your strong project management skills to ensure all tasks are smoothly coordinated and completed to our high standards. Apply today! $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: • Fully maintain the upkeep of all company’s properties, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, BBQ and BBQ area maintenance, swapping out air filters, batteries, and other daily tasks needed to keep the property in excellent shape. • Prepare painted surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces as required. • Cleaning and maintaining the household as well as its surroundings, such as sweeping, washing, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and sanitizing all areas and surfaces • Furniture assembly, adjusting, trimming, fitting parts, inspecting wood, ensuring quality standards, handling material orders • Perform routine maintenance on pools, including water cleaning, cleaning filters, fixing lights, identifying damage in pool walls and conducting repairs, maintaining stock records, and reporting water quality issues to management. • Servicing HVAC needs: heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, maintaining and repairing various indoor climate control systems • Perform in-home audio/video integrations and troubleshooting while cleaning/maintaining TVs and sound systems to ensure they are working correctly. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience in property maintenance, specifically within short-term or long-term rental properties. • Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the components and systems in luxury properties, combined with experience in operating and managing luxury assets such as high-end homes, hotels, or apartments to maximize their value and performance. • Tech-Savvy: Skilled in troubleshooting home security systems, home theater systems, TVs, streaming services, remotes, electrical blinds, and curtains, as well as mounting TVs. • Problem-Solving: Proficient in identifying potential issues, diagnosing problems, and providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance. • Attention to Detail: Able to identify even the smallest defects or safety hazards to maintain high standards of quality and safety. • Physical Ability: Capable of climbing ladders, assembling furniture, crawling through tight spaces, and lifting heavy equipment as needed. • Sense of Urgency: Strong task management skills with responsiveness to customer, operational, and property needs. • License: Must hold a valid California Driver’s License COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Hourly Wage: $28 - $40 / hour based on experience and achievement Bonus: Personal bonus paid on a monthly basis, subject to management approval.
