What you will be doing: As a Project Specialist, Print & Digital Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of strategies that bring Staples’ print services to life both online and in-store. You’ll build and maintain digital experiences and support site initiatives to highlight Staples’ print offerings, driving customer engagement and delivering seamless, high-quality experiences. Working closely with marketing, merchandising, creative, and operations teams, you’ll ensure that campaigns and site updates are executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with brand standards. Key responsibilities include executing site-based initiatives, maintaining product and promotional content in CMS tools, supporting online merchandising, managing campaign timelines, and contributing to seasonal and targeted campaigns. You’ll also be tracking campaign performance and preparing basic reporting, all while collaborating in a fun and rewarding work environment that values innovation and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, ecommerce, or marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in marketing, merchandising, or eCommerce
  • Prior experience supporting print, retail, or promotional marketing initiatives
  • You are highly organized, able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Your excellent communication and collaboration skills empower you to work effectively across marketing, creative, and merchandising teams.
  • You are comfortable working in CMS platforms and eager to learn new tools quickly.
  • You possess basic analytical skills for tracking and reporting campaign performance, and you are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with content management systems preferred
  • Experience with digital merchandising or campaign execution
  • Ability to provide guidance and informal mentorship during project workstreams
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend process improvements and contribute new approaches
