• Clearance: TS/SCI with NC2-ESI Eligibility Required at Time of Hire • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen • Location: Pentagon, Washington, DC • Work Type: Remote • Annual Salary Range: $140,000 – $170,000 per year. • Job Posting Active Open until 3/1/2026 Role Summary: INTECON is seeking a senior Program Manager who can lead a 16-person team providing program-level oversight and integration for a complex National Military Command System (NMCS) portfolio supporting the Joint Staff J3's National & Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Division (N2C3) at the Pentagon. The Program Manager will oversee planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination across Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) and Command and Control (C2) policy, governance, operations, and assessments. The Program Manager will integrate assessment and operational data to identify enterprise-level risks, trends, and capability gaps, and provide senior Joint Staff leadership with actionable recommendations to strengthen readiness, effectiveness, and mission assurance. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Provide program-level oversight and integration across the NMCS portfolio encompassing NC3 and C2 policy, governance, operations, and assessments • Oversee planning, execution, and coordination across multiple functional areas and subordinate project managers • Integrate assessment and operational data to identify enterprise risks, trends, and gaps • Provide senior Joint Staff leadership with actionable recommendations to improve readiness and mission assurance • Ensure alignment of policy, governance, and operational activities in support of national-level decision-making • Manage integrated project schedules and monthly progress reports • Coordinate with Combatant Commands, Services, OSD, DISA, and NC3 Enterprise Center • Support C2 governance forums including the C2 Executive Steering Council and C2 Council of Colonels • Oversee preparation of Weekly Activity Reports, GO/FO 5x8s, and senior leadership briefings Required Qualifications: • Active TS/SCI clearance with NC2-ESI eligibility • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Minimum 5 years of relevant program management experience supporting complex operational or policy-driven portfolios • U.S. Citizenship Preferred Qualifications: • Prior Joint Staff or Combatant Command support experience • Direct experience with NMCS, NLCC, or NC3 programs • Knowledge of CJCS directives and the Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP) • PMP or equivalent program management certification • Experience managing multi-discipline teams in TS/SCI environments • Familiarity with GCCS-J, DJC2, or IBS systems • Experience with DoD governance forums and policy development Benefits • Comprehensive Group Health Plans (Medical, Dental, and Vision). • Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance. • Flexible Spending Accounts and Supplemental Plans. • Company-paid Training and Development Programs. • Generous Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay. • 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match. • Critical Illness and Accident Insurance. • Employee Assistance Program.
