Product Manager - Small Mobile Apps (Remote)

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

The Role You’re not here to maintain. You’re here to build, fix, scale, and repeat. Mode Mobile is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to take command of our Small Mobile Apps unit, where new apps start scrappy, are relentlessly optimized, and evolve into real revenue engines. This is high-ownership, zero-hand-holding product leadership. You’ll get dropped into newly acquired mobile products and make an immediate impact: fine-tune onboarding, tighten monetization funnels, kill features that aren’t working, and invest hard in what is. You’ll drive growth from “interesting” to “unignorable,” without waiting for anyone’s permission. If you’re energized by ambiguity, allergic to bureaucracy, and obsessed with building apps that make money and make sense, let’s talk. What You’ll Do Own the lifecycle of newly acquired apps, integration, roadmap, launch, optimization, and scale. Hold full P&L responsibility: revenue, retention, LTV, CAC payback, funnels, experiments, and unit economics. Ship more than decks. Build and prioritize feature pipelines that move metrics, not just morale. Run constant A/B tests, pricing experiments, ad stack optimizations, and activation improvements. Partner with engineers, designers, growth, monetization, and data, and expect high velocity from everyone. Turn loose ideas into real product strategy using user research + ruthless prioritization. Put structure around chaos: frameworks, playbooks, cadences, reporting, OKRs, and dashboards. Work directly with Product, Engineering, GM, and Leadership to turn acquisitions into scalable product wins. Call assumptions into question and make the data prove everything. Who You Are A product operator, not a product philosopher. Fluent in mobile monetization and addicted to revenue performance (IAP, IAA, subs, whatever works). Obsessive about speed, experimentation, and outcomes over theory. Proud of scrappy evolution: you’ve scaled ugly v1s into beautiful, profitable v5s. Comfortable telling leadership “no” when the data says no, but always coming back with a better plan. You think in funnels, cohorts, retention curves, and pricing tables, not vibes. You mentor well and hold teams accountable. Alignment with our core values: Accountable : You take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrating trustworthiness and self-discipline. You are consistent in your work, transparent in your actions, and communicate effectively. You follow through on commitments and strive for continuous improvement. Action-driven: Identify what is most important, agree on scope, execute in a timely manner, and drive the greatest impact. You take initiative, roll up your sleeves, and get things done. Caring: You genuinely care about yourself and others, our business and craft, our mission and vision, and are passionate in heart and mind. You understand the importance of our team and strive to create a positive, supportive work environment. Curious: You focus on the ‘why,’ learn and expand your knowledge, explore new ideas, and generally make things better. You're a lifelong learner with a thirst for knowledge and a constant desire to improve. Thorough: Your work is thoughtful, impactful, timely, accurate, and complete. You pay attention to detail, are meticulous, and ensure quality work and compliance. What You Bring 5+ years in product management, including 2+ years leading product development teams or squads. Proven P&L ownership for mobile apps, ideally multiple apps or portfolio environments. Real experience in one or more of these: utility, rewards, productivity, digital tools, social, casual entertainment. Track record shipping fast, iterative experiments: launch → learn → optimize → scale. Competency with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, Looker, arenaflex Sheets, SQL is a bonus). Clear communicator at the executive level, you can present, debate, convince, and defend. Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Loved) You’ve scaled an app post-acquisition or integrated with a larger platform. Familiar with subscription testing, paywall optimization, dynamic pricing, or ad stack tuning. Experience doing portfolio management, not just a single product forever. You think product + growth + monetization as one system, not separate functions. Why This Role Matters Small Mobile Apps is where Mode proves its thesis: we can acquire, integrate, and scale apps faster and better than anyone else. This role is the engine behind that promise. You’ll turn fresh acquisitions into stable, high-margin growth machines. You’ll build processes, playbooks, growth models, experiments, and product discipline that become Mode’s blueprint for the next 20+ deals. If you want to put your fingerprints on a multi-app ecosystem and drive revenue that leadership notices instantly — this is the place. This is product management at speed, at scale, and without a safety net. Bring ambition. Bring curiosity. Bring energy. Everything else we can iterate.
