Position Reports To: Senior Product Consultant Position Description This is a remote work position. The Product Consultant is a Pareo and payment integrity subject matter expert. They understand our products and our clients’ business needs inside and out, allowing them to advise clients on the optimal way to structure their workflows to accomplish client business goals while also using Pareo to its best advantage. Business analysis skills and previous experience with software development projects are key success factors for this role. The Product Consultant works within a cross-functional implementation pod, which contains all resources required to successfully complete a client implementation. Product Consultants’ primary responsibilities involve gathering and writing requirements and conducting UAT related to workflows and status changes. They also are responsible for configuring client Pareo environments and creating and testing custom letter templates within Pareo. Product Consultants will participate in discovery sessions, project meetings, create workflow diagrams, write business requirements, research issues, advise on best practices, ensure proper documentation, respond to client questions, assist with workflow training, and more. This role involves a significant amount of client communication. Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Establish and manage strong working relationships with key business partners • Clearly define customer and business needs, creating user stories that accurately reflect business requirements • Write detailed business requirements as well as related JIRA tickets to accurately and concisely communicate required development deliverables • Recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals • Escalate usability and performance issues as required, maintaining ownership of issues through resolution • Drive continuous improvement of our systems and processes • Perform initial system testing of delivered solutions, working closely with development to identify bugs and/or missing/incorrect functionality • Continuously assess, identify, and present opportunities to improve the customer experience • Work with client SMEs to recommend and document workflow processes that accommodate their business needs • Identify opportunities to automate client processes Minimum Qualifications • 2 years of Product Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role required • Payment Integrity experience strongly preferred • BA/BS in computer science, IT, business or related field (or equivalent experience and certifications preferred • Experience using project/task/bug management tool such as JIRA • Excellent planning and time management skills • Ability to quickly assess issues and react to changing circumstances and new information • Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve • Experience working with cross-functional teams • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills • Must be comfortable working in a fluid environment • Manages multiple concurrent projects and priorities Other Duties: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
