The role will be based in Dubai, UAE. As an OpenText Cybersecurity sales engineer, you will influence and make a difference in the cybersecurity roadmaps of our customers in application security and data security areas, identify their specific needs, and propose innovative solutions to support a secure transformation strategy. To succeed, you must have a <strong>deep understanding of security principles, architectures, competitive products, and security designs</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>You Are Great At</strong></p><ul><li>Product presentations and technical sessions for prospects, customers and partners in Data Privacy, Protection, and Application Security Testing areas</li><li>Live demos of OpenText Application Testing and Data Privacy and Protection solutions</li><li>Orchestrating successful Proof of Concepts</li><li>Addressing responses to RF(X) responses</li><li>Design comprehensive security architectures based on customer requirements</li><li>Build and maintain a healthy, positive relationship with key customers and partners, meeting them regularly and keeping them up to date with the latest product releases and new features</li><li>Representing OpenText at trade shows and events, also as a public speaker</li><li>The senior solutions consultant should present all the pillars under the <strong>Cybersecurity Enterprise portfolio,</strong> SecOps, AppSec, DataSec, and IAM solutions, take a lead role in the C-level meetings, and address both technical and business-related use cases to cover customers’ requirements. </li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>What you need to succeed</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of field experience as a <strong>cybersecurity presales,</strong> sales engineering, presales, solutions consulting roles.</li><li>Strong experience on Application Security practices, preferably with knowledge on OpenText solutions in this space.</li><li>Hands-on experience on one or more applications or data security solutions: Dynamic and Static Application Testing or Data Encryption, Masking, Tokenization, Data discovery and classification</li><li>Robust knowledge of information security fundamentals, market analysis, and product verticals (architectural design, technology, implementation)</li><li>Excellent solution presentation skills, Desire to implement and customize OpenText Application Testing and Data discovery and protection solutions in Proof of Concept (POC) activities</li><li>Good knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, databases, networking fundamentals, and container-based deployment technologies</li><li>Ability to communicate the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals</li><li>Good knowledge of and relationship to the local IT security market (system integrators, resellers, and distributors are desirable)</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p> <br><p> </p><p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0px">OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
