PL/SQL Developer, #1005 Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance We are seeking a talented and motivated PL/SQL Developer to join a collaborative and fast-paced development team focused on supporting enterprise data solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing database components that power critical business systems and reporting tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing performance, and working with a team to improve processes and data integrity. You'll be joining a group that values innovation, clean code, and efficient systems design—supporting a mission-critical program that impacts real users and business operations. As a PL/SQL Developer, what you will be doing: • Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages. • Create and manage Oracle database objects, including tables, materialized views, triggers, synonyms, user-defined types, nested tables, and collections. • Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries for large-scale data retrieval and manipulation. • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting for PL/SQL code. • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to implement and improve functionality. • Translate technical specifications into clear, accurate data reports using tools such as Crystal Reports. • Contribute to business process evaluations, system design efforts, and the development of standardized conversion routines for increased efficiency. • Ensure compliance with database best practices, standards, and security protocols. Required Education, Experience, and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming. • Familiarity with database development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD. • Ability to develop and maintain efficient and secure database objects and queries. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: • Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer in a production environment. • Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools. • Understanding of user-defined data types, nested tables, and complex Oracle structures. • Experience participating in business process improvement and data migration projects. • Exposure to Agile development environments and version control systems. Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000 - $150,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
