Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and proficiency in office software to contribute effectively to our team. Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
  • Organising appointments, meetings, and conference schedules efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate data entry records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Preparing reports, documents, and presentations as required
  • Filing and archiving important documents in both physical and digital formats
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering supplies
  • Supporting team members with clerical duties to ensure operational efficiency

Experience

  • Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with data entry and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
  • Previous clerical experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability

This role requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess a professional demeanour, excellent organisational abilities, and familiarity with standard office software tools.

Pay: £24,420.00-£74,810.23 per year
