A member of our recruitment team will discuss location preferences with you in more detail. Job Summary We are seeking a Jr. Penetration Tester to join our growing team. Seeking Candidates having 1+ years of Cyber Security experience, preferably with a focus in penetration testing to join our Enterprise Information Security organization on the Penetration Testing team. Major Responsibilities • Work closely with Sr. member(s) to support penetration testing assignment(s) • Validate the effectiveness of the remediation solution for security finding(s) that are ready to be re-tested • Participate in the supporting of the enterprise DAST program • Continually research on new exploitation/attack techniques against technology stack(s) currently being used at the organization • Maintaining familiarity with industry trends and security best practices • Contributing to the teams continuous improvement efforts Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Security or related fields; or equivalent work experience • 1+ years of experience in software development or CyberSecurity. • Possessing one or more of these certifications are highly desirable: OSCP, CompTIA Security+, CEH • Experience with analyzing problem(s) and delivering clear and coherent written report with proper mitigation recommendations • Experience with Windows or Linux operating system(s) • Experience with one or more of these scripting languages: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Bash • Knowledge with one or more of these programming languages are highly desirable: Java, C#, C/C++ • Knowledge with exploitation development and/or binary reverse engineering are highly desirable • Knowledge with one of these technology platforms are highly desirable: Azure, AWS or Openshift • Familiarity with one or more of the following technology areas are highly desirable: • Network infrastructure (technologies, architectures, operations) • Various network and host-based security products and services • Active Directory, servers, desktops and mobile devices • Unix, Linux, AIX • SQL, Oracle, DB2 Databases • Nice to have – • Knowledge of one or more compliance frameworks: NIST, FFIEC, GLBA, SOX, PCI, etc. • Knowledge of OSI stack • Knowledge of OWASP/OSSTMM Penetration Test Methodologies • Knowledge of common software security issues and remediation techniques (OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, Mitre ATT&CK, etc.) The typical base pay range for this role is between $75K - $95K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
