Position Summary

The person in this position is responsible for servicing assigned Lowe's stores by fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Stocking Program with Lowe's, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store. This position merchandises/stocks lumber and millwork at Lowe's store # 2401 in Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule

  • We’re hiring for a part-time role with a consistent biweekly schedule. You’ll average 6-8 hours per week Monday-Wednesday (any one of these days), during daytime hours (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible, predictable hours while still making a meaningful contribution.
  • Must be available at least one day (Monday through Wednesday)

Pay

  • $20.00 per hour

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure your safety while working in Lowe’s store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowe's personnel or Lowe's customers
  • Be courteous and professional to the customer
  • Communicate effectively with Lowe's store personnel
  • Contact Lowe’s receiving department of the store you are responsible for to confirm the availability of products to be stocked
  • Stock Novo products included in the Stocking Program within 36 hours of when they are delivered (after the materials have been received in the Lowe's system) unless other arrangements are made with authorized Lowe’s representatives
  • Retrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriately
  • Ensure all Novo products that are stocked look neat/tidy:
  • Straighten and push back moulding,
  • Return ALL products to their proper location.
  • Stock moulding in the proper bin locations.
  • Perform culls and ensure Lowe’s has correctly received credit for damaged pieces found during the stocking process.
  • Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.
  • Clean up and properly dispose of all bundle ties and other packing materials.
  • Return or arrange for the return of all carts and/or cattle racks to their proper location.
  • Participate in special events for customers (i.e., Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), as requested.
  • Assist with store set/reset activity, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience stocking customer stores.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel to assigned Lowe's store(s) in a local geographic region.

Physical Requirements

  • The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
    • Standing, walking, bending or twisting
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Lifting 100 lbs. with the use of equipment or assistance
    • Pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.
