This position is open statewide as part of our continued expansion across Texas. The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is a firm that excels in family, estate planning & probate, and criminal law matters. We currently have (11) offices in Texas: (2) offices in Houston (Corporate and River Oaks), and (1) office in Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood, The Woodlands, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, and Humble, and will continue to have paralegals in these offices. Available Work Environments: We offer two distinct work environments designed to match different levels of experience: 1. Fully Remote (100% Remote) This opportunity is ideal for seasoned professionals who thrive working independently outside an office environment. Experience Required: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant family law experience in Texas. 2. On-site with a Hybrid schedule (after 60 days) This role is structured for reporting to an office 5 days a week, with remote work options, based on achieving and maintaining the required billable hours. Professionals who can maintain the required billable hours can benefit from a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Experience Required: Minimum of 2+ years of solid family law paralegal experience. Responsibilities • Drafting pleadings • Preparing discovery • Filing documents with the court • Preparing trial exhibits • Calendaring meetings and appointments • Other duties as assigned Requirements • The minimum of years of family law experience in Texas as outlined above; Board Certified is highly preferred. • You will have an Associate’s degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. In lieu of education, we will accept 7+ years of exact experience in TX. • Located in Texas • Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding of MS Office and or Google Suite applications. • Proficiency on Clio and TxDoc OR similar software. • Demonstrate proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized. • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. • Professional demeanor and positive communicator. • Must have reliable, hard wired connectivity internet service • Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for professional legal work and confidential communications. Nice-to-haves • Board Certified is highly preferred.
