Overview

The Warehouse Sanitation Associate plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant environment throughout the facility and surrounding property. This position ensures all sanitation standards are met in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Baldor’s Food Safety requirements. A clean and sanitary workplace is essential to delivering high-quality, safe products consistently to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Uphold Baldor Specialty Foods’ core values of quality, service, teamwork, respect, innovation, and safety
  • Maintain exceptional sanitation standards across the entire facility, including: Office areas; Restrooms and locker rooms; Breakrooms; Interior and exterior warehouse spaces
  • Perform daily and routine cleaning tasks as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor
  • Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and unscheduled sanitation needs
  • Follow established sanitation schedules while proactively addressing cleanliness issues
  • Safely operate sanitation equipment, including but not limited to: Pallet jacks; Power washers; Industrial vacuums; Floor scrubbers
  • Adhere to all Food Safety, Sanitation SOPs, and Food Quality Plans
  • Support compliance with GMP standards and internal, customer, and third-party audits
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods without reasonable accommodation
  • Working knowledge of warehouse sanitation policies, procedures, and best practices
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
  • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or operations environment preferred
  • Prior Facilities Maintenance Or Sanitation Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and procedures
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain physically active for extended periods
  • Comfortable working extended hours, including weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to work in COLD refrigerated and freezer warehouse environments
  • Fast-paced, physically demanding industrial setting
