Overview:

The Contractor Onboarding Coordinator is a mission-critical role responsible for the rapid, compliant, and high-volume activation of all new 1099 Sales Representatives and Installer Candidates into the American Standard Home Services agent network. This position is responsible for ensuring that all required documentation is submitted, background screenings are completed and approved, licensing is verified, and all other regulatory compliance is validated before the contractor is activated. The Onboarding Coordinator must maintain and preserve the accuracy of all applicant records, including contractor qualifications, valid insurance, valid licensing, payment information and other required legal documentation.  This is a critical role in the organization that requires strong organizational skills, uncompromising attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of applicants for different functions at the same time. 

Responsibilities:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for all independent contractors in sales and installation functions.
  • Direct and Monitor all contractor background and drug screenings to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Collect, Audit, and Control all essential contractor documentation, including:
    • Executed Independent Contractor Agreements
    • Required professional licenses and certifications
    • Certificates of Insurance
    • ACH / Direct Deposit Information
  • Enforce strict contractor compliance with all company standards and applicable regulatory requirements as a mandatory prerequisite for activation.
  • Drive onboarding progress through proactive tracking and aggressive follow-up to secure all outstanding documentation required and clear bottlenecks hindering contractor activation.
  • Maintain accurate and updated contractor records within all company databases.
  • Oversee the ordering and controlled distribution of all contractor badges, credentials, and onboarding materials.
  • Act as the primary, authoritative administrative point of contact for contractors during the onboarding phase.
  • Liaise with Sales Leadership, Installation Management, third party recruiting agents and other internal departments to guarantee rapid and compliant contractor activation.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and ensure proper handling of all sensitive contractor information.
  • Lead general administrative and logistical support functions essential to the onboarding process and management of contractor information.
  • Champion continuous process improvements to streamline contractor onboarding, accelerate activation, and elevate compliance reliability.
  • Manage travel arrangements for the Orientation Meetings for the Installation contractors that are held at the Training facility.
  • Other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Proactively identifying, developing, and implementing high-impact process and system improvements.
  • Relentless reduction of onboarding bottlenecks and delays.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in related role

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work well indepedently and remotely

Proficient in Google applications

 

Hiring Range:

This is a 6 month contract the pay range for this position is $30.00/hr. 

 

This position is 100 percent remote and all equipment is provided.
