Front Desk Bookkeeping Assistant

Hot Springs, AR
Pay starting at $15-$17/hr, based on experience
Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm | 30-Minute Lunch (and 2 fifteen minute breaks each day)
Temporary (4–6 weeks) with Potential to Go Permanent

Express Employment is hiring for a respected local engineering firm seeking a highly accurate and dependable Front Desk Bookkeeping Assistant. This position will primarily work out of the Hot Springs office and provide support to the bookkeeping team in both Hot Springs (will collaborate with their Little Rock Office)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed data entry, staying organized, and keeping the front office running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data accurately into QuickBooks

  • Assist with bookkeeping for both Hot Springs and Little Rock offices

  • Transcribe handwritten documents onto company letterhead

  • Perform heavy data entry and filing

  • Answer and manage a 4-line phone system with professional etiquette

  • Operate at the front desk and serve as the first point of contact


Qualifications

  • QuickBooks experience required

  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Professional phone presence and communication skills

  • Organized, dependable, and able to follow direction

  • Comfortable working independently while coordinating with a remote accounting team
