This role is remote, fast-paced, and results-driven.

MUST HAVE 8+ YEARS of NURSING/ALLIED recruiting experience in a staffing company (not hospital/health system internal recruitment).

Job Overview

The Senior Nursing & Allied Health Recruiter will source, recruit, and place RNs, LPN/LVNs, CNAs/MAs, and Allied clinicians (e.g., RT, PT/OT/SLP, Rad Techs, Sonographers, Lab, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, etc.) across federal and commercial settings. This position emphasizes performance-based compensation, with a competitive base salary and significant contingency/bonus tied to placements and/or gross margin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline building: Maintain a high-velocity talent pipeline through job boards, databases/ATS, social platforms, networking groups, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Client alignment: Partner with account managers and delivery teams to match talent to requisitions, clarify scope/schedules, and hit time-to-fill targets.
  • Credentialing readiness: Coordinate licenses, certifications (BLS/ACLS, compact/NLC, ARRT, ASCP, etc.), immunizations, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and onboarding documentation in collaboration with credentialing.
  • Compliance & quality: Ensure adherence to Joint Commission/CMS standards, federal program requirements (IHS/VA/DHA), and Prime Physicians policies throughout the process.
  • Offer & rate strategy: Build competitive pay packages (including travel stipends/per diems where applicable), negotiate bill/pay rates, and protect margin/gross profit.
  • Data hygiene: Maintain accurate candidate records, submittal notes, and activity metrics in the ATS; track KPIs (submittals, interviews, offers, starts, GM).
  • Market intelligence: Monitor supply/demand, licensure timelines, and rate trends by specialty/geography; advise internal teams on fill strategy and prioritization.
  • Candidate experience: Provide clear expectations (shift/facility details, compliance timelines, DocuSign flows), proactive communication, and post-start check-ins to support retention.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of agency-side recruiting focused on nursing and allied (locum/travel and perm). Staffing company experience is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of high-volume placements and consistent margin contribution (please include recent annual placement numbers in your resume).
  • Deep knowledge of licensure/compact (NLC), state boards, credentialing timelines, and specialty requirements for RNs/LPNs/CNAs and Allied modalities.
  • Experience with federal clients (HHS, IHS, VA, DHA) preferred, including onboarding nuances and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with ATS/CRM (Ceipal preferred) and VMS portals (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, Medefis, ShiftWise, IQNavigator).
  • Exceptional sourcing, negotiation, and closing skills; able to manage multiple reqs and candidates concurrently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organization, urgency, and attention to detail; comfortable with performance/KPI targets.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
